Ethan has a new obsession - webkinz. He got his first webkin for his birthday from his great grandpa and grandma Julius and named him Stripey. His second webkin was bought by Brent. I'm not sure if Ethan was being really good at the store or Brent was in a really good mood but Brent bought it for him. Ethan named this one Buttercup. Then, this weekend when we were in Storm Lake, Janel felt like spoiling Ethan just a bit more so she bought him his third webkin. He named this one Mini Puddles. Ethan also used his own money to buy a karate uniform for Buttercup.

For Brent's birthday, I made him a Hawkeye cake. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be but it was worth it. He was sure surprised when he saw it. Brent usually doesn't smile for the camera but Ethan was goofing around and made Brent laugh. By the end of the month, I had made 4 cakes and I didn't want to have anything to do with anymore frosting!!

So, on the insisting of Janel, I made a blog. I don't really have very many exciting things that happen to me but I will include the details of my canning - which I am starting right now - and all the funny things that Ethan says or does!
